Climate change and human (inter)action

This blog is the online extension of a debate started between friends (thank you Ivan and Gary) about the worthiness of the Kyoto Treaty and the issue of resource allocation by our governments to global causes. The staring question was: should we allocate 5 billion Canadian dollars to Kyoto, which efficiency is, according to some, to be proven, or should we allocate that sum to more immediate needs, such as eradicating malaria from Africa? The following discussions ensued.

This is a comment on my post so that we can figure out how it works. Once we get the system working, I'll delete it, as well as the post.
Cheers!
